Hello all! This was a much anticipated trip, not just because of the cruise, but it’s also the journey to my sister getting married. My sister, Icy, has been like a mother-figure to me, so the trip was all very sentimental. I’ve been on the Carnival Cruise to Ensenada before and it is such a party cruise! You have people celebrating bachelorette party, bachelor party, or someone’s birthday everywhere, which is great if you don’t want a lot of kids running around.
The cruise has so many amenities that it’s impossible for me to list everything. Areas we often visited were the Karaoke bar, Paris lounge, the club, casino, 24hr food area, spa, gym, mini golf, and Shakespeare library. These were just a few activities that kept us busy all weekend long. Sad to say, but I caught a cold after the first day (and it seriously got a lot worst from there), so I didn’t get a chance to take as many pictures as I’d liked to. Did I mention the 24hr food? YES! Pizza and unlimited ice cream are available all night long. But you also enjoy amazing 3 course dinner meals with plenty of options every single night as well!
The room was quite small with bunk beds, but for a reasonable price, you can always do a little upgrade on your space. Since we wanted to stay together, we had to book a room that would fit 4-5 people in one room, which is only available at the end of the boat with lots of waves and motion, so I would definitely consider that before booking.
Our stop in Ensenada was all day on Saturday, and I was kind of glad to be on land! We ate our way through Ensenada from fish tacos, nachos, octopus and scalloped tacos to a hip churro spot. I even bought a hammock for $17 that I’m very proud about 🙂
Missguided ACDC t-shirt, Thailand pleated pants, Madewell sandals
The trip pretty much ended for me Sunday day since my cold caught up to me and I was bedridden for the rest of the night 🙁 So I was binged watching House of Cards while everyone else went to eat their last dinner.
Overall, I still had a great time and made amazing memories with my sister and her friends. A cruise can be a great trip for a bachelorette party because you’re forced to tune off from the internet and social media and seriously bond with your group. Which means… all posts will have to be #latergram, no regrets in that at all. Up next, Maui!
